My favourite clothes with Ash Stallard from Shift

Ethical Fashion Revolution

Our first Fashion Revolution contribution this week is from the wonderful Ashleigh Stallard creator of the Shift Design Blog, and the Partnerships Executive for the Finders Keepers Market.

Hello lovely Cate and happy FashRev Week!

I couldn't choose one item... so I chose one from two categories! My favourites are always those versatile pieces that I keep falling back on for all types of occasions!
My favourite second hand/ vintage piece: I love my "flower power" maxi dress that I got from Swop in Brisbane city. It's got just the right amount of retro 'wow factor' and the heavier fabric drapes so nicely. Sometimes I think it's a bit daggy because of the vintage nature of the fabric, but it's so comfy and seems to go with almost any occasion! Plus I am drawn more to green in my wardrobe these days.

My favourite recent addition from a sustainable, ethical, Australian fashion label that I am keen to support: My black 100% hemp linen jumpsuit made in South Australia by Good Studios is a wear-anywhere piece that just as easily goes from a picnic (which I did this week!) to dinner with cute shoes and earrings (like I did for my birthday recently!) or layered for cooler weather (which I'm doing right now in SA!). As anyone who's ever worn a jumpsuit knows, you can't go past them for comfort either!
