My favourite clothing item with Michelle Juric from All Good Things

It is so so hard to pinpoint my favourite item of clothing as they all have a story and a much loved place in my closet.  I used to be a rampant, vintage hoarder, raiding opp shops and my Nonna's closet for the most outlandish items. I literally had 3 wardrobes in my bedroom to house everything and over 100 shoes which sat on the floor - makes me sick thinking about it! Thankfully now I have a far more considered and minimal approach to what makes it into my tiny wardrobe with a real emphasis on new locally made...

My Favourite Outfit with Nina O'Brien from Kindling

This is my favourite outfit the 'Outrageous Sparkling top' and 'Caramel Linen Pants’. I make clothes because I love fabric and design and how the intersection of those two things on my body makes me feel, but especially how it makes others feel. My favourite second hand/ vintage piece: I love my "flower power" maxi dress that I got from Swop in Brisbane city. It's got just the right amount of retro 'wow factor' and the heavier fabric...

Fashion Revolution Week 2018: My Granny the Revolutionary

Today, as my next blog post for Fashion Revolution Week I want to tell you about my grandmother. Granny Allison was one of the great loves of my life, she was wondrous in so many ways, and here is a story of something truly wonderful she unknowingly taught me that is ringing so loudly in my head right now, and shaping my life. I first want to tell you how the idea for this post came about. It was during a conversation I was having with someone during which this person said ‘I just can’t afford ethical fashion’ and I...
