Refunds and Returns

Please choose carefully as we do not refund for change of mind, we only refund faulty items, but will exchange or offer a store credit. Your item must be returned within 14 days. Store credit is then valid for 12 months from the processing date.

Proof of purchase will be required, but, Brown’s does reserve the right to refuse an exchange, return or store credit (if it's not returned in optimum condition Babes we can't accept it).

Exchange items must be in as new condition and suitable for resale. Any postage costs for change of mind exchanges is at the expense of the customer both returning and resending items.

Sale items cannot be exchanged or refunded, unless the item is faulty. 

When returning items please use a trackable service – ensuring the stock arrives back to us is the customer’s responsibility. Please contact us, we will supply you with the relevant postal address. 


Australian Shipping

* Standard shipping is $10 for orders $50 and under

* Standard shipping is FREE for orders $50 or over

* Express shipping is $15 for orders under $200 

* Express shipping is FREE for orders $200 and over 

We currently use two shipping services: Sendle for regular delivery within Australia, they are an excellent service and will take care with your packages. And we use Australia Post for all our express post service and ensure that it is trackable and delivered to you. Sometimes we will use Australia Post for other shipping if Sendle does not deliver to an area, or we feel it will be quicker with Australia Post.

If your item arrives to you damaged or faulty please contact us within 48 hours with photographs of the damage (we need these to claim delivery insurance). If we can replace it with something you are happy with, we will, otherwise we will refund your purchase.

International Shipping 

We have just begun offering International Shipping, small items (i.e. earrings/jewellery, single fashion items, single small ceramic pieces such as a cup) will be shipped for $20, larger items (i.e. multiple fashion items, books, large ceramics) will be shipped for $40. All International items will be tracked and tracking details provided to the customer. 


Local Delivery

We are also happy to offer free next day (in most cases, sometimes if it ordered on the weekend or during public holidays/school holidays we cannot deliver the next day) delivery to areas close to us in Brisbane. The areas we offer this service to are: Ashgrove, Bardon, Milton, Paddington, Red Hill, Rosalie, The Gap. You can simply email and request this service if you place an order over the phone, or you can put this in the notes of your online order. 

Please note, if no one is home we will leave parcels either in the mailbox or on the front door step (and take a photograph as documentation), if items go missing after this point, we do not accept responsibility for the loss of goods.
